Gea S.r.l., the parent company, was established with the aim of outsourcing some activities of the companies within the group to optimize and maximize their internal processes and activities.

In 2023, the company opened an operational office in the city of Udine, with the goal of consolidating its presence in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and providing operational space for group companies.

The most active companies within the group are PVK S.r.l. and PSVK S.r.l.

PVK S.r.l., founded in 2010, offers a wide range of services in the renewable energy sector with a particular focus on photovoltaic systems and energy storage. PVK’s clients come from various sectors: residential, commercial, and specialized industry operators (such as investment funds, industrial operators in the photovoltaic sector, photovoltaic component manufacturers, and technical consulting companies). PVK operates throughout Italy, with a specific focus on Puglia and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. In the latter region, PVK has been operating since 2012, and since 2015, it has had an operational office in the province of Udine.

PVK’s activities can be divided into three sectors:

• Technical services for the design, authorization of new installations of various sizes, and specialized technical consulting.

• Construction of rooftop photovoltaic systems and storage systems.

• Maintenance of photovoltaic systems and storage systems.

EVO S.r.l. Agricola, established in 2021, aims to leverage the growing opportunities linking the agricultural sector to renewable energy by developing turnkey authorized projects in close collaboration with PVK for the development of renewable energy plants.

PSVK S.r.l., founded in March 2022, focuses on the market segment related to the construction of large-scale photovoltaic systems, i.e., from 1000 kWp upwards, in the EPC Contractor (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) formula, acting as the sole interlocutor for the client throughout the various phases of the process, from design to implementation and maintenance.

To date, the group has obtained authorizations, managed construction supervision, detailed design, and construction site management for several installations. Out of over 51 MW authorized to date, the group manages 44 MW in Friuli-Venezia Giulia (across 8 different projects), 4 MW in Lombardia (in a single project), and 3 MW in Puglia (in a single project) of photovoltaic installations. A 4 MW plant is currently under construction in Lombardia, another 6 MW plant is being built by third parties but under the supervision of PVK technicians. Negotiations are ongoing for the construction works of other authorized projects.

In addition to the above photovoltaic installations, the group has authorized 12 MWh of storage systems on behalf of a French electricity producer in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in the industrial area of Monfalcone, currently under construction under the supervision of PVK technicians.
